The balloon trips start from close to Al Ain and are about an hour’s journey each way from your hotel. You will ‘visit’ the iconic Emirates Palace Hotel – Abu Dhabi Corniche – A natural wild life tour and naturally the Ultimate Thrill Ride. Journey time is about 45 minutes. The 12 seat inflatable crafts are equipped with the latest generation engines – GPS navigation – tracking equipment – and DSC – VHF radios so the boats position is tracked at all times. With fully qualified crews a life jacket is provided for all passengers and must be worn. Don’t forget the camera. Leave hotel at 10.00 back for 13.00 with a 45 minute time allowance in the Heritage Village. Run by the Emirates Heritage Club this reconstruction of a traditional oasis village provides and interesting glimpse into the countries past. Traditional aspects of the Bedouin way of life including a camp fire with coffee pots, a goat’s hair tent and a falaj irrigation system are attractively displayed in the open museum. There are workshops where craftsman demonstrate traditional skills such as metal work and pottery, while women sit weaving and spinning. The craftsmen are happy to share their skills and may occasionally give you the chance to try them out. The little spice shop is a treat – you can get a range of dried herbs, handmade soap and plenty of chatter.

Dhow Dinner Cruise- Evening – Minimum 2 persons
What could be more romantic than a cruise and dinner on a traditional ‘Arab Trader ‘ The wooden Dhow is built in the time honoured centuries old manner but with every modern comfort . Cruise along the moonlit creek whilst viewing the brilliantly illuminated skyline. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner served with a taste of local delicacies. Leave hotel at 20.00 returning for about midnight.
East Coast Tour – Full Day – Minimum 4 persons
A four hour journey takes you to one of the most popular beaches on the East Coast. Here you can admire the sheer beauty of the dramatic Hajar Mountains. Pass through the agricultural areas seeing the picturesque fishing villages of Khorfakkan and Dibba. Perhaps a swim or just a rest break before lunch at the Sandy Beach Hotel. Visit the oldest mosque in the UAE and discover the ancient Ghost City and the Emirate of Fujairah’s Portuguese Fort. Fujairah is a remarkable emirate with the coast stretching from the mouth of the Arabian Gulf down to the Indian Ocean. It has long been a major trading port. Hatta Wadi Trek – Full Day – Minimum 4 persons
The trip to Hatta will take you into the striking Al Hagar Mountains. Travel across the mountain passes and wadis with their rocky tracks where the fresh water streams and crystal clear pools of the Wadi Hatta will offer you a chance for a swim or a paddle in the mountain springs which can be very refreshing. We will discover the ancient oasis of Hatta and its Portuguese Fort After lunch we will drive through the sandy desert and take advantage to experience a real camel ride on one of the ‘ ship’s of the desert ‘ first hand. Regrettably we now head back for Abu Dhabi. Leave hotel at 08.00 back for about 18.00 Lunch included.
Desert Safari – Half Day – Minimum 2 persons
How to discover the true desert of Abu Dhabi on this remarkable journey. After an exciting drive over the sand dunes we will visit a real camel farm and then onward to see the sunset from the dunes. We continue until we arrive at our traditional Arab camp where you can try a host of activities like henna painting and why not Shisha with Arab sweets and coffee significant to Bedouin culture. After sunset a barbeque dinner with live entertainment and be treated to authentic Arab hospitality. Arabic dates and coffee will be served as they are still in most Emirati homes today. Other features include Dune bashing – Camel Riding –Sand Skiing – and a BBQ dinner . Leave hotel at 15.00 arriving back about 21.30.

Al Ain is the traditional seat of the Sheikhs and is perhaps the most authentic of any main city in the UAE. It is here that true desert life is best demonstrated. A visit to Al Ain National Museum ( closed Monday’s ) and Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum is essential as is a visit to a camel farm and the livestock market. The wealth of culture to be found here truly belongs to being a vital desert bazaar and trading post. We now head to KJebel Hafeet this great mountain range whose location overlooks the remarkable beauty of Al Ain. We will visit a hot spring situated at the foot of the mountain to explore the healing powers of the waters. Lunch will be taken in a 5 star hotel and is included. All good things come to an end as we head back to Abu Dhabi. Leave hotel at 08.00 arriving back about 18.30.
